I was listening to Alanis Morissette's CD, Alanis Unplugged a while ago, and one particular song caught my interest - it was entitled Joining You. It caught me it because of its dark tone, and its somewhat darker message. To me, it was a song wherein the main "character" somewhat spoke of suicide (saying you were talking crazy/ that you/ wanted to do/ away with yourself), and yet he/ she wasn't talking as if consoling/ preventing the person about to commit suicide, but somehow understanding that person's situation (if we were our bodies/ if we were our futures/ if we were our defenses/ I'd be joining you.) I hope you get the thought here, as I can't seem to function properly today due to a hangover ( :p ).

Anyway, just moments after hearing the song, I received a text message from a friend, saying that a Grade School classmate just passed away, apparently because he committed suicide.

Now he wasn't really one of my closest friends - heck, we never really talked to each other that much, but stilll... rest in peace.

* sigh. * I'm still not over UST's very heartbreaking loss to Ateneo today. Parang game 1 ng finals last year.

I recently got all the results sa mga midterm exams ko, and they were quite pleasing. Epal lang talaga yung Environmental Science 1, kasi ang hirap ng approach ng pagtuturo sa amin. Sabi naman ng ibang kumuha ng subject na iyon, madala naman daw sa ibang professor. I guess it's true na depende talaga sa professor kung gaano kadali ang isang subject.

I only have three subjects anyway (don't ask why... hehe) and aside from that Environmental Science subject, medyo kaya naman yung iba. Hehe. And what I'm really happy about is that lumampas yung grade ko sa total number of items sa isang subject (Geography 1), dahil may plus points kung makakapagbigay ka ng joke (ako ba naman mahilig sa mga txt jokes, :-p), at may isa pang binigay na bonus yung prof na depende sa game na nilaro namin. Hehe.

At doon naman sa EnviSci, 54/110 ako (haha). I'm quite frustrated by the fact na isang point nalang sana... makakapasa na ako. hehe

And the last subject... Math 54 (err, Elementary Analysis II... although if you ask me, the subject's anything BUT Elementary. hehe). Sayang nga lang kasi sana makaka-90%+ sana ako kung hindi lang ako nagkamali sa graphing. /pif Kasi naman eh, nabasa ko na nga na to the right yung direction ng graph, ginawa ko pang to the left. Haha. Ayun naka-tanggap pa ako ng comment kay sir. Currently Listening to:

I was half-awake when I heard this conversation.

Mama: Tignan mo nga yung wallet ni Neil kung may laman.
Maid: * checks wallet. * Wala.
Mama: O sige.

What was that about? Siyempre hindi lang naman pera yung laman ng wallet noh. Oh well, I'm kinda used to this already since these issues with privacy aren't at all new to me. I just wonder why a 17-year-old teenager can't get the privacy he needs.

At buti nalang nilipat ko yung laman ng wallet ko sa ibang pwedeng pagtaguan. Currently Listening to:

= wala na naman akong baon. wahahaha

I am so bored kapag alang klase... and worse, since wala ring klase yung mga kapatid ko, may kaagaw ako sa tv. and the youngest (5 y/o yta, haha) happens to be a fan of noontime soaps, which I happen to hate with a passion. (Pano ba naman kasi, where else have you heard the terms pinakamamahal or hamak na katulong being used in modern settings?)
